Hydrolyzed Liquid Fish

Hydrolyzed liquid fish is an organic fertilizer that feeds both plants and soil. Depending on the rate, you can use it as a base fertilizer (100% or bulk of fertility plan), but can also be used in conjunction with existing fertilizer program, and can also be used as a foliar fertilizer. It mixes well with many other fertilizers and can be used similar to adjuvant to increase the effectiveness of other chemicals (e.g. fungicides or herbicides).
Application Methods:
It can be applied through a center pivot, through a sprayer, or by any other means that liquid fertilizers are applied.
When mixing with other chemicals or fertilizers, we recommend doing a jar test to ensure compatibility.
Suggested Application Rates:
Application rates can vary wildly depending on how it used as part of overall fertility plan.
Per Application:
- Hay, Alfalfa, and other Forages: 2-4 gal./acre after each cutting or grazing
- Row crops: 3-4 gal./acre per application (6-12 gal./acre/year) depending upon crop needs, soil tests, and desired results
Per Year:
- 3-4 gal./acre per year as part of an existing fertilizer program can increase efficiency and reduce the rates of other fertilizers
- 15-50 gal./acre per year as a standalone fertility program for high-yielding organic crops
