Full Description
AZOMITE is a naturally mined mineral product that contains more than 70 trace minerals including rare earth elements not contained in other soil amendments and fertilizers. AZOMITE (which stands for A to Z of Minerals Including Trace Elements), is mined from an ancient volcanic deposit in central Utah. The deposit is the result of a volcanic eruption that filled a small seabed around 30 million years ago. The combination of volcanic ash, sea water, and the influx of minerals from rivers that fed into this ancient sea bed make for a product that is rich in trace minerals. While trace minerals are usually only needed in small amounts by soils and crops, they are a vital component of healthy, highly productive crops that are resistant to pests and disease.
Application rates vary from 50-300 lbs/acre depending upon soil.
